The Green Bay Packers got back one of their star players today when running back Aaron Jones (knee) returned to practice. Jones has previously missed two weeks of practices, following his MCL sprain against the Los Angeles Chargers.
It’s worth noting here that the Packers had a padded practice on Thursday, so the team probably was more conservative today than they will be on either Friday or Saturday. The non-participants in practice on Thursday were receiver Christian Watson (hamstring), inside linebacker Quay Walker (shoulder) and safety Darnell Savage (chest). Savage momentarily left last week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, a game that Watson did not finish.
