The first half was a nightmare. The second half was a dream for the Green Bay Packers.
Down 20-0 at the half with Aaron Rodgers injured, the game, possibly the season depending on the injury, looked in danger. Two quarters later, they were closing out an unthinkable 24-23 victory.
The opening two quarters couldn’t have gone any worse. The offense couldn’t get going. The defense couldn’t make a stop. Then Aaron Rodgers went down with a knee injury and left the field on a cart.
DeShone Kizer entered the game, and despite making an encouraging start, a couple of outstanding plays from Khalil Mack resulted in two turnovers, one a pick-six to make the score 17-0 at the half.
