The Green Bay Packers will be without cornerback Jaire Alexander (shoulder), who hasn’t played since Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams, versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Alexander, the team’s preferred starter, went down almost immediately after Rasul Douglas was traded to the Buffalo Bills — leaving rookie seventh-round pick Carrington Valentine and former practice squadder Corey Ballentine as the team’s outside cornerbacks.
Along with Alexander, running back Aaron Jones (knee) and tight end Josiah Deguara (hip) will also miss the action tonight. Jones’ status was announced earlier in the week, as he hasn’t even practiced since going down against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.
