The Green Bay Packers are hoping to lock down their franchise quarterback for the foreseeable future, and they want to do so before training camp. Prior to last season, Green Bay gave Jordan Love a one-year, $13.5 million extension with the plan of starting him. Love did just that and managed to impress the front office, completing 64.2 percent of his passes for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. But now the Packers are looking to reach a long-term deal with Love. "We're in those conversations right now," Green Bay general manager Brian Gutekunst told 97.3 The Game, a Milwaukee-based radio station.
