Jeff Hafley is making the jump from college football to the NFL.
The Green Bay Packers are expected to hire the Boston College head coach as their next defensive coordinator, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Wednesday.
“He wants to go coach football again in a league that is all about football,” a source told ESPN. “College coaching has become fundraising, NIL and recruiting your own team and transfers. There’s no time to coach football anymore.”
In four seasons with the Eagles, Hafley went 22-26. He had two winning seasons and played in one bowl game.
