The Green Bay Packers are hiring Luke Getsy to a senior offensive assistant role on Matt LaFleur’s coaching staff, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and PackersNews.com.
Getsy was fired as offensive coordinator of the Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 3 of last year, and LaFleur brought him back as an advisor to end the 2024 season.
Getsy, 40, was originally hired by Mike McCarthy as an offensive quality control assistant in 2014. He rose to wide receivers coach and remained in the position for two years (2016-17) before departing to be the offensive coordinator at Mississippi State for one season.
