The Green Bay Packers continue to make interesting roster moves. Wide receiver Trevor Davis looked set to see an increased role in the offense back in the preseason, but that won’t be happening now.
According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, Davis has been traded to the Oakland Raiders.
While a surprising move, it also makes sense for the Packers. Despite many believing Davis could have a bigger role on offense this year, he only played 15.44 percent of the team’s offensive snaps in the opening two weeks, according to Pro Football Reference.
