The Green Bay Packers might need a wide receiver this offseason, but it turns out that the team didn't seriously pursue a trade for DK Metcalf or the signing of former Packer Davante Adams.
According to Jason Wilde of Channel 3000 in Madison, who spoke with a source close to Adams, the Packers had no contact with the veteran receiver before he signed with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
Adams, a 2014 draft pick of the Packers, returned to the West Coast on a two-year deal worth up to $46 million with the Rams.
