As new Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst finished up his first NFL Draft, the general consensus for the first year GM right now is that he did pretty darn well. To most fans, the major shockers of the 2018 Packers draft class were the selection of punter JK Scott in the fifth round and long snapper Hunter Bradley in the seventh round. But rather than sitting shocked at those selections, I’m finding myself overjoyed that some serious attention was paid to what could be long-term solutions at special teams positions for the Packers. Here are the reasons for my joy:
JK Scott is the real deal
Let me preface this by saying that I am a fan of Justin Vogel and what he brought to the table in 2017 for the Packers.
