Jerry Kramer achieved a rare level of fame for an offensive guard.
Kramer was one of the best players of the Green Bay Packers' dynasty of the 1960s. He delivered perhaps the most famous block in NFL history, on Dallas Cowboys tackle Jethro Pugh to get Bart Starr in the end zone to win the "Ice Bowl." With Dick Schaap, Kramer co-wrote "Instant Replay," a groundbreaking diary of the 1967 season (I prefer the much less popular "Distant Replay" on the reunion of the Super Bowl I team, which Schaap and Kramer also wrote).
