When discussing the Green Bay Packers' safety position -- and all of its deficiencies -- it's easy to disregard the 2017 second-round pick. But in the defense of those guilty of such a practice, he hasn't necessarily provided a reason to remember him yet, either.
"He's trending in the right direction," General manager Brian Gutekunst said at the annual league meetings this week, according to The Athletic's Michael Cohen. "This will be a big year for him."
The Packers have played Jones in various positions, but he has yet to make the impact they've been hoping for.
