PALM BEACH, Fla. – Brian Gutekunst has no desire to let cornerback Jaire Alexander depart his roster without getting something in return.
It doesn’t mean the Green Bay Packers won’t eventually will need to release the cornerback sometime before the 2025 season. While Gutekunst left open the possibility Alexander might play again for the Packers, the team appears to have moved on.
Gutekunst said Monday morning at the NFL owners meetings in Palm Beach, Florida, that he’s still “working through” options with Alexander, hoping to find the best solution for the Packers and their top cornerback.
