The Green Bay Packers only got five games out of wide receiver Geronimo Allison in 2018. However, he was arguably the team’s best wideout through the first four weeks of the season, leading the team in receiving yards and yards per reception. Unfortunately, a groin injury cost him most of his season, forcing the team’s rookie receivers into more prominent roles than the team had initially hoped.
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst is banking on a full recovery from Allison, as evidenced by the team’s decision with the three-year veteran’s contract situation.
