Jean Francois bolsters a defensive line that will be without Letroy Guion for the first four games of the 2017 season due to suspension. This not only adds more depth up front, but also gives Dom Capers another run-stuffing lineman.
Along with superstar Mike Daniels and young talents in Kenny Clark and Dean Lowry, the defensive line is coming along nicely. Jean Francois adds a veteran presence up front, which never hurts.
The 6-foot-3, 313-pounder was cut by the Washington Redskins earlier this month. His release came as somewhat of a surprise, as JP Finlay of CSN Mid-Atlantic wrote at the time.
