The Green Bay Packers defense continued to impress under Jeff Hafley in a win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5, holding Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense to 19 points. Granted, the Rams are, and were, without Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, but they hung around with the Packers for most of the game until midway through the third quarter when the defense intercepted Stafford and added to their lead right after.
They forced two turnovers on defense and recorded three sacks. The Packers also utilized more man coverage in this game than their season average during their victory.
