GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Four members of the Green Bay Packers practice squad eventually got promoted to the active roster last season.
All four -- receiver Jared Abbrederis, running back John Crockett, cornerback Robertson Daniel and tight end Justin Perillo -- were on the initial practice squad for Week 1.
That bodes well for the group assembled by general manager Ted Thompson on Sunday, one day after the final cuts. He filled nine of the 10 allotted spots.
