The Green Bay Packers are expected to lose starting center Josh Myers in free agency, according to reporting from Bill Huber of SI.com on Monday. The league's "legal tampering period" opens Monday, so it's possible Myers will have agreed to a deal with a new team by the end of the day.
Myers, a second-round pick of the Packers in 2021, started 50 games in Green Bay but won't get a second contract. The lack of a second contract only makes the Packers' mistake -- picking Myers over All-Pro Creed Humphrey -- sting all the more.
