Packers exercise fifth-year contract option on DT Kenny Clark, per report

What was assumed is now official: Kenny Clark will be a member of the Green Bay Packers for at least two more seasons.

The Packers officially exercised their team option on Clark for a fifth season, according to a report from ESPN’s Field Yates early Tuesday morning. This comes a few days after general manager Brian Gutekunst indicated that he planned to execute this move. This provision is available to the Packers under the current collective bargaining agreement because Clark was a first-round draft pick. The team selected him 27th overall in 2016 out of UCLA.
