GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers elevated cornerback Robert Rochell from the practice squad to the gameday roster for the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
The club made the announcement Saturday afternoon.
This is the third time the Packers have elevated Rochell to the gameday roster, which means if they want him to appear in another game, he will have to be on the 53-man roster. The league limits the number of elevations from practice squad to the gameday roster to three for every player.
This will be the fourth appearance for Rochell, but one of them came when the club decided to sign him to the 53-man roster.
