The Green Bay Packers will have veteran cornerback Tramon Williams available for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game.
The team elevated Williams to the gameday roster from the practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement for offensive tackle Jared Veldheer, who remains on the reserve list.
The Packers signed Williams to the practice squad on Thursday. He returned to Green Bay after playing six games with the Baltimore Ravens, including last week’s playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Now on his third stint with the Packers, Williams played in all 34 games with the Packers in 2018 and 2019, including both playoff games last season.
