GREEN BAY, Wis. - Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Mike Pennel filed a lawsuit in an Ohio federal court against the NFL and the NFL Players Association as a result of an apparent second suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Pennel, who already was suspended for the first four games of this season, wants a judge to appoint a third arbitrator to hear his case and asked the court to put his appeal hearing on hold until that person is appointed.
