Packers Draft Results 2018: Green Bay selects Iowa CB Josh Jackson in second round

With their second-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers have added another cornerback.

General manager Brian Gutekunst doubled down on the secondary, taking Iowa cornerback Josh Jackson with the 45th overall pick.

The advantages of taking Jackson here are huge. He’s taller than first-round pick Jaire Alexander by roughly three inches and fits more of the mold the Packers usually prefer their cornerbacks.

Jackson had a dynamite final season at Iowa, deflecting 27 passes and intercepting eight passes. Wisconsin fans know him well, as he had two pick-sixes in the Hawkeyes’ loss to the Badgers.
