Consider the Green Bay Packers’ latest victory a testament to their depth.
That’s a strength the Packers (5-1) hope they don’t need to continue showcasing quite as much as they did Sunday in a 35-20 victory over the Houston Texans (1-6).
Two-time MVP Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes and three-time Pro Bowl selection Davante Adams had a career-high 196 yards receiving. Several lesser-known players also came through to help the Packers overcome numerous injury-related absences.
The Packers were playing without leading rusher Aaron Jones, Pro Bowl left tackle David Bakhtiari, starting cornerback Kevin King and starting safety Darnell Savage, among others.
