The Green Bay Packers have lost another defensive assistant coach. According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, defensive quality control coach Anthony Perkins has been hired as the new secondary coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Perkins, 36, spent just one season in Green Bay. Before joining the Packers, he coached at the collegiate level for five years, most recently as the cornerbacks coach at Oregon State after holding the same role at Colorado State.
Perkins is set to join a Jacksonville defensive staff led by Anthony Campanile, who was hired last week as the Jaguars’ defensive coordinator.
