In the Green Bay Packers’ preseason finale, the defense found an unexpected player of the game. Arron Mosby may have only played 17 snaps, but he made a massive impact over the span of a few minutes in the second quarter.
A defensive end who is trying to make an NFL team for the first time in his second year, Mosby created a pair of turnovers in that span to force the Packers to give him serious consideration during final cuts this week. He forced a fumble that was returned for a score and came up with an interception that helped keep the Baltimore Ravens from scoring shortly before halftime, both expanding the Packers’ lead to two touchdowns and keeping it there before the break.
