Adams was initially named an alternate, but Jones’ injury has opened the door for the Packers’ receiver to step in.
Adams played at a Pro Bowl level throughout the season, most notably when Aaron Rodgers went down with a broken collarbone.
While his teammates struggled to consistently produce, Adams was excellent. He finished with 885 yards and 10 touchdowns despite missing two games due to injury.
Adams is due a 1,000-yard season. He fell just three yards short last term.
If he stays healthy for all of 2018, I expect him to get there no matter who his quarterback is.
