Green Bay — Even though he has been one of the most productive players on the Green Bay Packers defensive line this season, Datone Jones played just 18 snaps against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
It was odd to see the Packers play their nickel defense almost exclusively throughout the game, and Jones did not get involved in the game until the second quarter. Time after time, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning threw the ball with no one in his face.
On a per play basis, Jones has had more splash plays than anyone else on the defensive line.
