Training camp starts this week, but the Green Bay Packers could be without first-round pick Darnell Savage Jr. temporarily.
According to Field Yates of ESPN, Savage has been placed on the non-football illness list. But there is some good news, as Yates later noted that it was described to him as “nothing serious” and that “Savage should be on the field within a few days”.
This was backed up by a report by Rob Demovsky of ESPN, who noted that Savage had his wisdom teeth taken out. So the good news is that Savage is completely fine and isn’t dealing with anything serious.
