GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Less than a month after he was arrested outside a bar in Cedar Falls, Iowa, cornerback Makinton Dorleant was released by the Green Bay Packers.
ESPN’s Field Yates reported Tuesday that Dorleant was released with the failed physical designation.
The former undrafted free agent from Northern Iowa finished his rookie season last year on injured reserve because of a knee injury after playing in just four games. Dorleant underwent surgery on his knee and was expected to miss nine months, according to a source.
Dorleant and Chicago Bears cornerback Deiondre Hall were arrested on March 25.
