Another stint with the Green Bay Packers has come to an end for one of Ted Thompson’s final draft picks as the team’s general manager. Wide receiver DeAngelo Yancey was a fifth-round pick of the Packers’ in 2017, chosen with the 175th overall selection, and although he failed to make last year’s team out of training camp, he did spent the entire season on the practice squad.
This season, Yancey could not beat out the team’s three newest draft picks for a roster spot, and he waived at final roster cuts at the end of training camp.
