The Green Bay Packers released running back Christine Michael after drafting three potential replacements for the veteran on Day 3 of the 2017 NFL Draft.
BYU’s Jamaal Williams, one of the Packers’ fourth-round picks, was our sixth-highest-graded running back in 2016 and forced a missed tackle every 4.27 rushes, more often than the likes of Christian McCaffrey (5.72) and Leonard Fournette (6.14) this past year.
In the fifth round, the Packers added UTEP running back Aaron Jones, who tied for fifth in the nation in breakaway runs of more than 15 yards in 2016.
