Packers could surprisingly acquire Pro Bowl QB in free agency for backup role

Are the Green Bay Packers satisfied with their backup quarterbacks?

With rookie Michael Pratt poised to challenge second-year man Sean Clifford for the QB No. 2 job in a battle of the inexperienced, no one could take umbrage with the Packers for turning to free agency for a better backup option.

Green Bay has constructed a dynamic roster to be reckoned with around Jordan Love, and there's no reason the Packers shouldn't expect to compete in games even in the unfortunate event of a Love injury; that is, if their backup is solid enough to run an offense (no heroics required).
