Mike McCarthy has reversed course on the biggest move of the Green Bay Packers' offseason. According to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer, the head coach has reclaimed play-calling duties from Tom Clements in advance of Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
For the majority of McCarthy's tenure as Green Bay head coach, he called his own plays on offense. During that time, the team finished near the top of the league in most offensive categories. However, after the debacle in last season's NFC title game, McCarthy handed off the play sheet to his top assistant in order to better manage his other responsibilities on game day.
