GREEN BAY – The future of Jaire Alexander with the Green Bay Packers remains unclear.
When approached during Monday’s locker room cleanout, the veteran cornerback declined to speak with reporters. “I don’t want to talk. I ain’t got nothing good to say right now,” Alexander told PackersNews. “I wonder if I’ll be here next year? There is nothing to talk about.”
A two-time Pro Bowl selection who signed a four-year, $84 million contract extension in May 2022, Alexander said he tore the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee against Jacksonville and kept aggravating it every time he practiced.
