The Drew Kaser era lasted only a few days. On Monday, the Green Bay Packers announced that they had released the punter to make room for safety Ibraheim Campbell, a safety waived late last week.
Campbell, a fifth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, spent time with two teams -- Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets -- this season before landing in Green Bay. He reinforces a position group recently thinned by the departure of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and a lower-body injury to Kentrell Brice.
