Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander wasn’t available for practice on Friday, the final practice before facing Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, per Mike Spofford of the team’s official site.
Alexander is dealing with a quad injury. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday.
Alexander, cornerback Carrington Valentine and offensive lineman Jordan Morgan didn’t practice Friday, although quarterback Jordan Love was participating for the third consecutive practice.
The Packers will provide playing status designations on the final injury report later Friday. Alexander will likely be listed.
His potential matchup against Jefferson, who has a touchdown catch in all three games to start the season, would be one of the pivotal showdowns of Sunday’s NFC North battle at Lambeau Field.
