Packers CB Jaire Alexander, C Josh Myers both inactive vs. Lions in Week 9

Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander and center Josh Myers are both inactive for Sunday’s showdown with the Detroit Lions in Week 9.

Alexander, who is dealing with a knee injury, was questionable to play, while Myers, who is still struggling through a wrist injury, was doubtful. Safety Evan Williams was ruled out Friday with a hamstring injury.

Without Alexander, the Packers will likely rely on Eric Stokes and Carrington Valentine as perimeter corners and Keisean Nixon in the slot. Javon Bullard, who has played in the slot recently, is likely the starter next to Xavier McKinney at safety.
