The Green Bay Packers' secondary could get a boost in the coming weeks with cornerback Demetri Goodson practicing Wednesday for the first time since the start of the season. The team can take up to three weeks before activating him from the physically unable to perform list.
Goodson has missed the entire season thus far while working back from blowing out his knee in November 2016. That injury involved multiple ligament tears, which partially explains the cornerback's longer recovery timetable. Goodson opened the year on the Packers' PUP list and remained there until this week.
