Green Bay Packers cornerback Carrington Valentine delivered his first career interception on Sunday night in Seattle, ending a scoring opportunity for the Seahawks when he picked off Geno Smith in the end zone during the second quarter.

Valentine was a seventh-round pick in the 2023 draft. Sunday night was his 29th career regular season game.

Valentine owes Eric Wilson for the interception. The veteran linebacker won on the blitz and hurried Smith into a poor throw, and Valentine was in the right place at the right time to make the interception in front of Noah Fant.

Here’s the first-career interception from Valentine:

Valentine could have kneeled down for a touchback, but he took the ball out and gained 20 yards to the 14-yard line.
