Green Bay — The case why the Green Bay Packers should continue starting Casey Hayward at left cornerback grows thinner by the week.
By and large, Hayward has managed to stay on the field since the first practice July 30. It's a considerable accomplishment in light of his surgery after last season to correct a stress fracture in his foot.
Durability always has been a major issue for Hayward, who missed the entire off-season this year and 13 games in 2013 with a chronic hamstring injury.
One week into training camp a year ago, Hayward had been as impressive as just about any player on the roster.
