The 2019 NFC Championship Game ended with the Green Bay Packers losing 37-20 as they were run off the field by the San Francisco 49ers--literally. Green Bay allowed 285 rushing yards.
While that was obviously the run defense's worst performance of the season, defending the run was an issue that plagued this Packers team for much of that season. It seemed like a foregone conclusion that whether it be in free agency or in the draft, Green Bay was going to try to get Kenny Clark some help inside.
But then they didn't. Free agency came and went, and so did the draft without any additions to the interior defensive line, except for undrafted rookie Willington Previlon from Rutgers.
