It’s hard to believe that Brian Gutekunst has now completed two offseasons as general manager of the Green Bay Packers. Time flies. His first season didn’t end too well, but that wasn’t on him. Gutekunst had a plan to rebuild the roster as quickly as possible, and we’re beginning to see it all come together in 2019.
Gutekunst deserves credit for changing the philosophy in Green Bay. Take nothing away from Ted Thompson. He had an incredible career with the Packers and helped build a championship roster in 2010, but a change was needed following the 2017 season.
