Green Bay — Twice in the last five years the Green Bay Packers extended the contract of long snapper Brett Goode several months before it was to expire.
Goode would become an unrestricted free agent in March if the Packers don't do it again, and to his understanding there have been no talks between his agent and the team.
"Not that I've heard of," Goode said Friday. "You go play the games, and if it's meant to work out it's meant to work out."
Goode was 26 before the regular-season finale in 2010 when the Packers added $300,000 onto his base salary in exchange for two more seasons.
