The Green Bay Packers could not get out of their own way on Sunday afternoon, and a combination of frustrating turnovers, penalties, and a leaky run defense cost them a chance at a convincing win over an excellent, albeit somewhat depleted, Houston Texans team.
Somehow, the Packers still managed to pull out a 24-22 victory in a game that would have been thrilling to watch for a neutral observer, with new kicker Brandon McManus hitting a 45-yard field goal as time expired to give Green Bay a win. Jordan Love threw three touchdowns in the game, and he led the team on the game-winning drive that set up McManus for the winning kick.
