The Green Bay Packers’ defense has struggled to create turnovers this season, but cornerback Bashaud Breeland came up with a big one in the second quarter on Sunday.
With the Atlanta Falcons facing a third-and-four at their own 14-yard line, Breeland identified the route being run by tight end Austin Hooper. Breaking quickly on Matt Ryan’s throw to the right sideline, Breeland easily intercepted the pass and returned it untouched to the end zone for a 22-yard touchdown return.
Breeland now has his first career Lambeau Leap.
That score gave the Packers a 17-7 lead midway through the second quarter.
