Packers awarded one compensatory pick in 2025 NFL draft

The Green Bay Packers were awarded a single seventh-round compensatory pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

The pick is No. 250 overall in the seventh round. Compensatory picks are awarded from a formula involving qualifying free agents signed and lost during the last free agency period. The Packers signed Xavier McKinney and Josh Jacobs but lost Darnell Savage, Jon Runyan Jr. and Yosh Nijman. Considering the contracts, McKinney and Jacobs cancelled out Savage and Runyan, leaving the Packers with a seventh-rounder for losing Nijman, who was originally signed as an undrafted free agent.

The additional compensatory pick will give the Packers eight total picks in the 2025 NFL draft -- one in each of the first six rounds and two in the seventh round.
