The Green Bay Packers are attempting to bring back free agent Adrian Amos, but the veteran safety is expected to hit the open market, according to Bill Huber of SI.com.
The report is the first known information regarding the team’s interest in keeping Amos for the 2023 season.
Per Huber, Amos intends to “see what’s available” in terms of finding one last big payday.
Amos is an unrestricted free agent after his contract voided last month. Because of prorated bonuses accelerating to 2023 when his contract voided, Amos is currently scheduled to count $7.
