For about a decade, the thought of the Green Bay Packers playing in Dallas sent shivers up the spines of Cheeseheads everywhere. Texas Stadium was a house of horrors for the 1990s Packers, as many a playoff run ended in disappointment under the half-exposed roof in Irving, Texas.
But since the Cowboys moved into AT&T Stadium, things have been different. The Packers have played four games in the new facility, which opened for the 2009 season, and have been victorious in all four. Each was a truly memorable game, too. The franchise’s first game in the building was its victory in Super Bowl XLV, a 31-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
