Green Bay Packers passing coordinator Jason Vrable — one of Matt LaFleur’s top offensive assistants on staff — will be in Mobile to be the offensive coordinator of the National Team at the Senior Bowl, the event announced Wednesday.
Vrable will coach under “head coach” Mike Kafka of the New York Giants on the National Team staff.
The Senior Bowl is using a “Coach Up” format that allows assistant coaches from across the NFL to take on elevated roles during the week of the event. Assistants are nominated by a team’s head coach or general manager.
