The Green Bay Packers have promoted Jon-Eric Sullivan to director of college scouting and hired Charlie Peprah as a scouting assistant. The announcement was made Thursday by Packers Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Sullivan is in his 13th season with the club and spent the past 12 as a college scout. He previously served as the team's National Football Scouting representative to the annual NFL Scouting Combine and authored evaluations of all prospective seniors in the Southwest region. Sullivan joined the team’s football operations department on July 12, 2004, after serving as a scouting intern during the Packers’ 2003 training camp.
